To those who have signed up for Mass Exam, as i told you all in today's earlier meeting, we are unable to sit for the first round of Mass Exam due to the function that our school is having next Saturday. Therefore, those who have signed up for it will automatically be taking part in the second round of Mass Exam that will be held on September! You can still pay the RM8 to Chiong Sui Thai for the book so that you can read the book and prepare early.
Hence, would like to announce and remind you guys once again that the training course on this Friday and Saturday ARE CANCELLED!
To sit for this exam, you need to have a copy of a basic first aid book that costs RM8 and you also need to register to become a member. Please look for Sharon Hii from Class 4A for the registration form when school starts
Dear members, for your information, Annual Parade is just around the corner! In order to prepare ourselves for that competition that is only held ONCE a year, we have to go through weeks of intensive training! We have come up with the training schedule and any changes made will be informed here, or our group in Facebook, or announcement will be made at school. Please be aware that this schedule is not FIXED and it will be changed depending on the situation.
As our school team managed to become the Top 2 in the previous Fancy Footdrill Competition, we will be fighting for the title 'Champion' again during Annual Parade! Exciting huh? Our fancy footdrill team will mostly remain the same, but we will be adding new members to join the team. Our fancy footdrill team are mostly Form 3 and Form 4 (selected ones only).
Meanwhile, we will be training/focusing the Form 1 and Form 2 ONLY on their basic footdrill skills, which means all the Form 1 and Form 2 will only be joining the normal footdrill competition during Annual Parade. Form 1 and Form 2 won't be taking part in the Fancy Footdrill competition.
Please make yourself clear.

To clear things up, there will be different seniors leading in different trainings. As of Fancy Footdrill, the seniors in charge are Sharon Hii and Chan Mae. Meanwhile, for the normal footdrill, seniors Vincent Sia, Siaw Ja Haw and Chiong Sui Thai will be leading. Other high board AJKs will also lead these trainings, but mostly the 5 trainers will be in-charge. So if you have any hesitation or suspicions, please don't hesitate to contact any of us!
We will be starting our training when school reopens, and it will be a hectic and intensive one, so be prepared and seek for your parents' permission early! Let's create history for SJRC this year!
In 2010, where SJRC has gotten champion in Annual Parade.
Before ending the post,
ALL RED CRESCENT MEMBERS please make sure you get your own set of uniform and accessories by this holiday and wear it every Wednesday! Make sure your uniform has Red Crescent buttons, not just any normal button!
Please contact : Sharon Hii (014-397-5228) if you have any enquiries.
Fellow Red Crescent members of St Joseph, there will be a Mass Exam coming up at the end of this month! It will be held on the
28th June 2014 and 29th June 2014
Mass Exam is an activity where you can take the first step to improve your knowledge in First Aid, and at the end of the day, when you manage to pass the test, you'll be given basic first aid certificates and badge!
Those who failed in this exam last year, don't worry because you can try again this year!
In order to pass the test, your knowledge in First Aid will be tested theoretically and practically. It won't be hard as we are going to prepare you for the war! We will be inviting instructors specially from the Training Institute to train you all, but the date has yet to be confirmed.
So why not grab the chance? The next time you see someone hurt, you might be the one who need to provide help!
If you're interested to take part in this exam, please kindly contact :
1. Sharon Hii (014-397-5228)
You may find her through Facebook, Wechat, Whatapps or through text message!
On the 25th April until 27th April, our school unit had sent a team to join the Inter Unit First Aid Competition. The team members are :
No.1 : Chiong Sui Thai
No.2 : Chan Mae
No.3 : Sharon Hii
No.4 : Vincent Sia
No.5 : Siaw Ja Haw
The team managed to be crowned as the second runner up in the competition. Unfortunately, we did not manage to get any best in any of the category.
We would like to express our most sincere gratitude towards our teachers, ex-seniors, seniors and members who supported us since the starting of our training. We are definitely grateful for your sacrifices to help us out and support us during the competition. We will never forget what you guys had done for us and we appreciate it. As a matter of fact, this competition is a motivation for us and our batch to strive harder for the upcoming competitions. We will try our very best to not let everyone down!
